CMX Tokenomics

Distribution and Governance

CMX has a fixed total supply of 100,000,000 tokens. Once the CapSign protocol is live on Ethereum, users will be able to purchase CMX on Uniswap for trading and utility within the ecosystem.

Token Distribution:

  • 80% (80M CMX) - CapSign Treasury & Development: Held by CapSign in a 20-year escrow with monthly unlocks. These funds are primarily dedicated to core development, strategic partnerships, long-term ecosystem growth, and stewardship. These tokens will be allocated as appropriate to broker-dealers, investment banks, Open Cap Table Coalition members, asset managers, issuers, validators, and other partners.
  • 10% (10M CMX) - Liquidity & Volume Incentives: Dedicated to liquidity mining programs, volume-based rewards, and market-making to ensure a healthy trading environment.
  • 10% (10M CMX) - Private Placement: Reserved for private placement prior to launch.

Our Vision

A Global, Decentralized Capital Marketplace

The ultimate goal of the CMX Network is to establish a truly global capital marketplace. By leveraging blockchain technology for clearing and settlement, we aim to create a foundational financial layer that is transparent, efficient, and not owned or controlled by any single entity or nation, fostering fair access and innovation worldwide.
